It is hard to believe that the season is coming to a close. There are a few more house keeping items that I wanted to pass along to you all. Please read.....
Saturday, August 19 - The Mitchell Family (Bowen’s Parents: Chris and Jill) have invited us all back to their house after our last game for a team BBQ/Potluck and swim. Please reply all to this email with the following information. How many people are attending, and what items you are bring to share.Please bring your lawn chairs, BYBO, your kids drinks, towels and swim suit. The Mitchell’s Address is 813 Danbury Cres in Wiltshire (please come through the gate to the back yard). Hope to see you all there!
Tuesday, August 22 - The Award Night/Dinner is being held at the Camlachie Community Centre @ 6:00. The dinner is $5 per person they are serving pulled pork on a bun, various salads, pickles, water/juice and cake for desert. The awards are being presented at 7:00. Please know that you can come to the awards and not the dinner. Remember to let me know if you and your family are planning on attending or not by Wednesday August 16. I will be collecting the money on Saturday morning.
Uniforms - Please remember to bring a change of cloths to our last game this weekend (hopefully this is on Sunday) as I will be collecting the uniforms (pants, shirts and belts) to return to the Camlachie Athletic Association.
Thursday, September 7 - Camlachie Athletic Association AGM - This is were you will get your uniform, volunteer and AGM checks returned. This is also a great way to voice what the association is doing well and suggestion to make things better.
Have a great rest of your week, I will see everyone at the field on Saturday @ 8:00am for our first game.
