Black beats Red in a hard fought wet affair
It wasnt ideal conditions for baseball but both teams braved the drizzle. Black got out to a big lead before red stormed back to tie. Black needed their last at bats in the top of the 5th to score their last 4 runs and then held red off the score sheet with great defense in the bottom of the 5th to secure the win. Hitting was a bit of a struggle tonight with wet baseballs leading to an inconsistent pitching machine. Play of the game was made in the bottom of the 5th when Caleb snagged ablistering shot uo the middle and almost got the out at 2nd base. Black is back at it Thursday night provided the diamonds arent too wet form the rain we are supposed to get tonight. Good win guys!!
