Black wins against an undermanned Strathroy
The boys won again tonight. Unfortunately Strathroy Blue was a little short staffed with only 8 players. They played without a catcher and a 4th fielder so it really wasn't a fair contest. But the boys were hitting so well tonight that it probably wouldn't have mattered. It was a good night to teach the boys the lesson about good sportsmanship. After the 1st inning and a bit we only allowed the boys to advance one base to keep the score form getting out of hand. We talked to the boys after about it and they talked about times when the other team maybe wasn't as sportsmanlike.
But we said how good it was in those situations to hold your head high knowing that you were. Very proud of the boys tonight and the growth they are all showing this season. See you Tuesday...2 road games this week
