You cant win them all!
In a hard fought game the Black team took their first loss of the season to Forest on Thursday night. It was just one of those nights where the boys didnt get the bounces. An unusual off night at the plate combined with some great fielding by the opposition combined for the loss. The boys made some great plays but couldnt always finish them off. The boys learned tonight how much little things can turn into a couple extra runs. In the end the boys took their first loss like champs which was good to see. It wasnt the best birthday gift to Nash but we all got to sing him Happy Birthday after the game so that was a nice way to end the night.
Going to keep an eye on the temp for Friday practise time. If we do have a practice it will be short and optional. I have been holding onto a good stash of water balloons so it make be a good night to pull those out to practice our aim on the head coach. Keep that a secret!. But lets see tomorrow.
